STORAIGE

The main goal of the StorAIge Project is to create a world-class manufacturing platform for silicon with artificial intelligence capabilities. This platform is equipped with security components based on high performance, secure, low power consumption FD-SOI (semiconductor on full insulator) technology and aims at prototyping competitive artificial intelligence applications.

The project's main challenge is to address and bring to a high level of maturity technologies beyond "Moore's Law", which are sub-28nm and complex, while dealing with complex System-on-a-Chip (SoC) designs that are smarter, secure, flexible, low power consuming and cost effective. The project aims to develop chipsets and solutions with very efficient memories and high computing power, targeting 10 Trillion Processor Balls per watt.

Within the scope of this project, various usage scenarios are targeted and demonstrated, including predictive maintenance, sensors, motion recognition, automotive, smart power, washing machines and unmanned/autonomous vehicles. With the robotics and autonomous systems laboratory, it is planned to provide autonomous SGA and Bucket navigation at smart construction sites in cooperation with FORD OTOSAN and BUYUTECH.
