ECOMOBILITY

ECOMOBILITY

EcoMobility will support European industry and cities in the transition from isolated and static means of transport to a service-centric, connected mobility ecosystem by sharing data and services between relevant stakeholders. The project aims to enable and simplify the collaborative development, deployment, operation and lifecycle management of connected adaptive end-to-end mobility solutions in a sustainable way. The objectives of the EcoMobility project are:

  • To build dev-ops applications within the supply chain with continuous and customized cloud-based addition and improvement of mobility services.
  • To support contractual runtime connectivity of mobility services within an edge/cloud-based service for the monitoring, analysis and coordination of vehicles, transportation infrastructures and people, as well as the deployment of AI solutions.
  • To provide reliable and enhanced vision and perception, including HD maps and localization systems, for secure, connected and automated vehicles.
  • To offer customized and improved fail-over ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems) that reflect the technology capabilities of heterogeneous vehicles and protect vulnerable road users.
  • To provide energy-sensitive control and programming of electric vehicles, including Intelligent Battery Management Systems (BMS), as well as coordination with other transportation vehicles.
  • To contribute to greater social acceptance of electric autonomous vehicles and to bridge the gaps between technological developments and legal and regulatory frameworks.

TÜBİTAK BİLGEM will be involved in designing smart city solutions to be deployed for the development of more resilient physical and digital infrastructures for smart vehicles and transportation operations to provide multi-modal, "door-to-door" efficient and cleaner transportation solutions. Project tasks include designing systems for autonomous marine vehicles, including software developments for radar-based localization and navigation (both for its own autonomous research boat and for SH's boat and sea taxi). In addition, teleoperation of the surface and land vehicle between two locations will be carried out by TÜBİTAK BİLGEM.
