ROBOTICS AND AUTONOMOUS SYSTEMS
Projects
Check out our completed and ongoing projects realized with our national and international collaborations.

5G-MOBIX
The 5G-MOBIX Project under the Horizon 2020 ICT-18-2018 Call aims to identify the most promising solutions for delivering seamless connected, cooperative and autonomous mobility (CCAM) services in cross-border traffic.
ADACORSA
The European drone industry is developing new beyond visual line-of-sight (BVLOS) technologies that allow service providers to perform complex drone operations and operate without human intervention. The EU-funded ADACORSA Project aims to develop technologies for safe, reliable and secure drone flight to increase public and regulatory acceptance. Within the scope of the project, research and development activities will be carried out on sensing, telecommunication and data processing components and systems.

BEYOND5
The world is constantly changing, with advanced technologies such as rapidly evolving radio frequency electronics and the Internet of Things (IoT). To remain competitive, to secure sustainability, development and social welfare, Europe needs to be ready to implement its own strategy. For this purpose, the BEYOND5 Project financed by the European Union is being implemented. Project BEYOND5 aims to add connectivity and functionality features to existing CMOS technology by presenting Europe's first industrial roadmaps.
STORAIGE
The main goal of the StorAIge Project is to create a world-class manufacturing platform for silicon with artificial intelligence capabilities. This platform is equipped with security components based on high performance, secure, low power consumption FD-SOI (semiconductor on full insulator) technology and aims at prototyping competitive artificial intelligence applications.

HICONNECTS
The HiCONNECTS Project aims to transform centralized cloud platforms into decentralized edge platforms that are sustainable and energy efficient. This will bring cloud services, including artificial intelligence (AI), closer to their end users and enable them to use CoT and IoT efficiently.
ECOMOBILITY
EcoMobility will support European industry and cities in the transition from isolated and static means of transport to a service-centric, connected mobility ecosystem by sharing data and services between relevant stakeholders. The project aims to enable and simplify the collaborative development, deployment, operation and lifecycle management of connected adaptive end-to-end mobility solutions in a sustainable way.

AIMS5.0
AIMS5.0 Project aims to strengthen European digital sovereignty and support sustainable production by using artificial intelligence-enabled hardware and software components and systems. This project aims to increase overall efficiency by adopting and applying AI along the industrial value chain.
ROBOTIM
ROBOTIM Project is an R&D project supported by the Republic of Turkey Presidency of Defense Industries. The project is carried out under the leadership of Polonom Technology Industry and Trade Inc. in cooperation with Selvi Software and Hardware Technologies Ltd. TÜBİTAK BİLGEM, Yıldız Technical University, Balıkesir University and Istanbul Commerce University are also participating in the project as subcontractors.

Acoustic Smart Highway
The fiber optic-based Smart Motorway Project aims to increase highway safety, provide quick solutions to potential accidents and adapt new technologies to the transportation sector. Accidents on highways with high-speed traffic cause both material losses and irreparable loss of life. The Acoustic Smart Motorway Project detects potential accident-causing factors early and determines the extent of potential accidents quickly and precisely.
Smart Agriculture Research Center
TÜBİTAK BİLGEM Robotics and Autonomous Systems Laboratory Unit operates within the Food Supply Security and Digitalization Joint Application and Research Center (GADOM), which is planned to be established under the auspices of the Presidency of the Republic of Turkey Presidency of Strategy and Budget. In this center, it is planned to host smart greenhouse application environments by conducting studies in cooperation with TÜBİTAK BİLGEM and other research centers and academia.
