Our Fiber Optic Based Smart Highway Project Received Industry Contribution Award at AUS Summit SummITS'22

The Fiber Optic Based Smart Motorway Project, carried out in partnership with TÜBİTAK BİLGEM and Kuzey Marmara Otoyolu Inc. (North Marmara Motorway Inc.) achieved great success at the International ITS Summit SummITS'22 organized by AUSDER (Association of Intelligent Transportation Systems). The project we carried out as TÜBİTAK BİLGEM Robotics and Autonomous Systems Laboratory was deemed worthy of the Contribution to the Sector Award for its contributions to the sector.

The summit, where the project was presented, was held for the third time and attracted great attention. Our smart highway project based on fiber optic technology was highly appreciated by the participants and industry representatives. The project attracted attention by highlighting the innovations and technological advances made in the field of intelligent transportation systems.

Our project, carried out in cooperation with TÜBİTAK BİLGEM and Kuzey Marmara Otoyolu Inc (North Marmara Motorway Inc.), aims to develop intelligent transportation systems by using fiber optic technology in motorway infrastructure. This award honors the value and success of our project in the sector.
