TÜBİTAK BİLGEM and MESS Cooperation Started Traffic Management Software Development Studies for Smart Factory MEXT
As part of the cooperation between TÜBİTAK BİLGEM and the Turkish Metal Industrialists' Union (MESS), we, as the Robotics and Autonomous Systems Laboratory, have started developing traffic management software for the Smart Factory MEXT. Our application, which will enable autonomous (deadlock-free) management of mobile robots within the smart factory, has been integrated into existing industrial commercial robots.
Within the scope of the cooperation between TÜBİTAK BİLGEM and the Turkish Metal Industrialists' Union (MESS), we, as Robotics and Autonomous Systems Laboratory, started to develop traffic management software for Smart Factory MEXT. These studies aim to enable the autonomous management of mobile robots in the smart factory environment without lockdown.
The application we have developed enables mobile robots to work effectively by integrating with existing industrial commercial robots. In this way, the management of traffic in the factory is optimized and the robots are enabled to move efficiently.
The Smart Factory MEXT Project is being implemented to support Turkey's digital transformation in the metal industry and to increase its competitiveness. As TÜBİTAK BİLGEM Robotics and Autonomous Systems Laboratory, we aim to offer innovative solutions in the field of industrial robotics with this cooperation.
